I feel that coaching made me more self aware, my coach, made me analyse myself and more importantly my goals and what is actually important to me. Therefore allowing me to prioritise effectively and ensure that what I was doing was in fact what I wanted and needed to be doing.

The discussion we had in sessions allowed me to leave with a set of action plans that I made myself, which I could then follow up afterwards. It felt brilliant to be able to come back the following week and say, look what an impact this had on my life when I did this. This allowed me to evaluate the effectiveness of the session by seeing it taking part in my everyday life.

I did find it initially quite difficult to do this approach of not being told what to think. However in the long run, this was a really productive way of learning and increasing my self awareness and understanding of my own strengths and weaknesses.

Some activities I found particularly useful were the list of goals. It was also very useful to actually write down what I wanted to achieve, I think that this helps you recognize them and notice which ones are priorities.

In only six sessions most aspects of my life were talked about and constructive plans were created in order to lessen the stress I felt I had with these areas. Stress management and time management of workload were a particularly important objective for me that were tackled during my sessions, and again have been able to take away some effective tools for dealing with this.

Thank you very much for these sessions. I will take away what I have learnt and apply it to all the challenges I come to face.
